Appearance of the special edition Toyota Land Cruiser 70 called Black Cruiser 70
GridOto.com – A special edition of the Toyota Land Cruiser 70 called Black Cruiser 70 was recently introduced to the public.
The modified version of the legendary SUV released by Toyota Auto Body is planned to be exhibited at the upcoming Tokyo Auto Salon 2024 (12-14/1/2024).
In appearance, this new Land Cruiser comes with a macho look thanks to its all-black color and is equipped with various off-road accessories.
One of the most striking changes is the installation of a snorkel which will help pass through deep water without having to worry about the engine being submerged in water.
This 4×4 SUV has a new front bumper which has a winch mount, increasing its capability to traverse difficult terrain.
Another change is in the Black Cruiser 70’s turn signal mica which is made clear, different from the orange factory default.
Toyota Auto Body equips it with a large roof rack to increase carrying capacity and strengthen its off-road aura.
Uniquely, the Toyota Land Cruiser 70 also has chrome accents on the mirror covers and rims, giving off a classic aura.

For information, the newest Toyota Land Cruiser 70 will be officially marketed in Japan at the end of November 2023.
Toyota’s legendary SUV is equipped with a 2,755 cc four-cylinder turbo diesel engine like the Fortuner 2.8 and Hilux GR Sport.
The pacemaker coded 1GD-FTV is capable of producing 150 kW or 201 hp of power and a peak torque of 500 Nm.
The output is channeled to a part-time four-wheel drive system via a 6-speed automatic transmission.
